WHY THIS VEHICLE?

Highly original, ultra-low mileage, and completely rust-free! For the discerning collector or enthusiast, this Volga offers a unique opportunity to own and enjoy a piece of Soviet-era automotive history in a condition that is all but impossible to find. The astonishingly low mileage speaks to a life of preservation rather than hard use. The Volga is simple to work on and has plentiful parts availability, which translates to a great classic car ownership experience. Adding to its rarity is the intriguing yellow color; most GAZ-24s were black, white, grey, or beige. Be sure to watch our detailed video for an in-depth review of this Volga, including a test drive and underbody inspection!

HISTORY

The original owner purchased this Volga from the state-run Beryozka stores, which were a chain of state-run shops in the Soviet Union that sold goods unavailable in regular markets, such as imported luxury items, electronics, and high-quality domestic appliances. The individual used the money they made as a diplomat outside of the Soviet Union. As seen in our detailed video, there is amazing documentation, which includes the owner's manual (doubles as a service manual), vehicle equipment certifications, and even handwritten ownership notes and Volga-themed newspaper excerpts from when the vehicle was operated during Soviet times.

CONDITION

The Vogla is in amazing, factory-original condition with minimal wear, consistent with ultra-low mileage, exceptional care, and rust preventive treatments from when the car was new. Please review our comprehensive inspection and service status report below, which provides detailed information about the vehicle's condition, including tire life, brake life, and paint thickness measurements.

This level of detail is important to us because we want to ensure that our customers are getting a quality vehicle that will last. We also want to be transparent about the condition of our vehicles, so that our customers can make informed decisions.
