Vehicle History:
This Touareg was delivered as a Personal Lease vehicle in November 2011 through a Highly-Rated VW dealer in NJ. It then enjoyed just over 10k average annual miles and regular service. The second owner purchased it in January 2015 and continued both the low average miles (less than 9k annually) and impeccable service over the next 5 years. While there was a report of damage in 2019, we find no evidence of it in the body panels (which wear original paint) nor any damage to the structure of the vehicle.
Vehicle Condition:
This car impresses with the superior condition more in line with a much newer vehicle. The exterior is gorgeous, wearing all of its original paint and showing a deep luster. Wheels likewise impress with their condition and all brightwork and glass is clean and clear. The interior is lovely, with uniform wood coloring and all plastics showing in almost-new condition. The leather seats are supple, showing some normal patina on the cushions, particularly on the driver seat. There are no rips or tears and the interior is free from any strange odors. All electronics work as they should, including the strong and effective A/C. Mechanically this also drives like a much newer car. The engine moves this Touareg away smartly and the transmission shifts confidently. Brakes are strong and handling surprisingly nimble. The entire driving experience is quiet and confident inspiring. Based on the dynamic experience alone, one would assume a car that is less than three years old.
