HISTORY

The original owner purchased this Volga from the state-run Beryozka stores, which were a chain of state-run shops in the Soviet Union that sold goods unavailable in regular markets, such as imported luxury items, electronics, and high-quality domestic appliances. The individual used the money they made as a diplomat outside of the Soviet Union. As seen in our detailed video, there is amazing documentation, which includes the owner's manual (doubles as a service manual), vehicle equipment certifications, and even handwritten ownership notes and Volga-themed newspaper excerpts from when the vehicle was operated during Soviet times.
