To get this Ural in the best possible condition, we went well beyond a simple oil and filter change. We performed a complete mechanical restoration on this Patrol. We started by first removing the whole drivetrain and engine and rebuilding the internals to make sure they run like new. We inspected the transmission and resealed all of the gaskets and casing. We then did the same to the final drive. Making sure to inspect not only the case but all internal mechanisms as well. We then buttoned everything up again and performed a 20,000km service. Checking linkages, cables, tensions, torques, filters and fluids on all components. We then moved on to the wheels and replaced all three tires with brand new Duro all roads. Along the way we check the fuel tank for any contamination and replaced the fuel cap. Finally we performed extensive detailing to make sure that this Patrol looks as great as it runs.
