Why this vehicle?
This is a beautifully maintained 1973 TR6 Triumph with just only 78,280 miles. This TR6 was completely rebuilt by a very reputable restoration shop in NH called Granite State Restorations and is truly a great representation of the classic British sports car.

Vehicle History:
It has been restored with a new black interior, motor, with .20 pistons, mild cam, and upgraded valves. All new chrome trim was also added. The entire undercarriage has been rustproofed as well and is solid, including all floors and trunk. The suspension has received all new bushings, new rear control arms, and frame reinforcement near the rear control arm mounts. It also has an all stainless steel header-back Bell Exhaust which is a very special addition that makes a refined and smooth growl with just the right amount of pops and burbles on throttle overrun.

Vehicle Condition:
There was a mid-2000's respray in Pimento Orange which shines beautifully today. Tires are in excellent condition and show very minimal wear and deep tread remaining. The previous owner replaced several light lenses and added the stylish luggage rack with leather tie down straps. Period correct Stromberg carbs are well-tuned and the car fires on the first crank when hot, and starts easily with a little choke when cold, with no oil burning or dripping.

Model Spotlight:
The TR6 model made its first appearance in 1969 and quickly became one of the most popular British Sports cars ever made. The 1973 TR6 was a very desirable model year as the last “pre-emissions” car, with later cars having substantially less power. The TR6 was short-lived as there were just under 92k of these produced and most of them imported to the U.S. Truly proven over the years that delivers reliability, great performance, and economically sound.
