We are very excited to add a truly exceptional 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SL Roadster in a beautiful Cabernet Red to our hand-picked inventory. With just 83,667 original miles, this SL would make a fantastic addition to any Mercedes-Benz luxury car collection. It is packed with a 5.6L V8 Engine, that produces 227 horsepower and 287 lb-ft of torque. Ths SL560 is one of the finest examples of automotive luxury available in the late '80s.
Vehicle Condition:
This Mercedes' is one of the best SL's we have seen both mechanically and cosmetically. While the exterior still has a beautiful shine, our trusted reconditioning team did a full concourse level cleaning to bring out its true condition. The interior has been properly kept throughout its years with original materials and paneling that show minimal wear.
Vehicle History:
We purchased this SL from the daughter of the second owner who purchased it in 1996 from Mercedes-Benz of Portsmouth as a one owner pre-owned vehicle. He gifted it to his daughters several years ago. While she enjoyed the ownership, the SL accumulated the normal scope of work that all SL Roadsters of this vintage required at some point. She decided not to invest in the SL and sold it to us. After purchasing the SL we performed comprehensive vehicle inspection and completed all needed mechanical and cosmetic reconditioning work as listed below.
