WHY THIS VEHICLE?
This extremely rare Boshe Safari is a true unicorn car. With only a few hundred ever built, it is a testament to German engineering and craftsmanship. The Safari was based on the Lada Samara, but it was heavily modified by Boshe to create a unique and versatile vehicle.
One of the most striking features of the Safari is its removable sunroof and collapsible rear canvas top. This allows the car to be transformed from a traditional sedan into a convertible or even a pickup truck in a matter of seconds.
Another unique feature of the Safari is its Porsche-tuned engine and running gear. Porsche intervened both on the engine (optimized combustion chamber) and on the running gear to improve performance and handling.
This particular Safari has been meticulously cared for by its previous owner. It has only 6K miles on the odometer and is in pristine condition. The exterior paint is factory original and the interior shows no signs of wear.
"PORSCHE SYSTEMS" ORIGINS
Porsche is known for its high-performance sports cars, but it has also been involved in the development of a number of other vehicles over the years. One of those vehicles is the Lada 2108, which was also known as the Samara and Sputnik.
Porsche was brought in to help with the design and development of the 2108. The company's engineers worked on the engine, running gear, and overall design of the car. The result was a vehicle that was far more advanced than anything else that Lada was producing at the time.
The 2108 was a huge success for Lada, and it helped to modernize the company's image. It was also one of the first Soviet cars to be exported to the West.
LADA 2108 ORIGINS

The Boshe Safari was produced by Boshe, a German coachbuilder, in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Boshe was known for its high-quality conversions of existing vehicles.

The Safari was a limited-production vehicle, with only a few hundred ever built. It was available throughout Europe, but it was particularly popular in Germany.
Finding one in such amazing condition was quite a feat and we had to source this one from a dear friend in Belgium. Included with this Boshe Safari is a collection of spare parts, all important brochures, and tool kits from the time.
CONDITION
This particular Safari is in immaculate condition, both inside and out. The exterior paint is factory original and the interior shows no signs of wear. The car has been well-preserved since new and is in museum-quality condition.
