I had a great experience with AlphaCars - and I didn't buy a car! The pre-sale prep they do and the thoroughness of their work and listings is what drew me to them. Also, I've never seen a listing before where they point out any flaws the car might have! Thiagos was very helpful, easy to reach, a...nd very informative throughout the process. I found a car on their website and inquired with him. Unfortunately, someone had put a deposit on the car the same day. He kept me posted during the process for the other buyer in case it didn't work out. He also offered to do a search for me and find a similar car. Five days later, I found a similar car that AlphaCars had listed, and purchased that one. Two days later, Thiagos reached back out to say the previous deal didn't go through, and because I had already inquired, he wanted to give me the first option to purchase it. Unfortunately, we couldn't do business this time, but when I'm in the market again, I will certainly look first at AlphaCars. Thank you, Thiagos! Show more

I came upon Alpha Cars early on in my search for a German car, my initial focus on Mercedes. Alpha had several models of various years, all pristine and well-priced. Thiago went through every one of them in detail with me, including driving them and reporting his opinion. As my search went on, my fo...cus shifted to BMW, which was not on my list and I knew little about. I kept hearing about the cars' performance. Alpha had several BMW's, and once again, Thiago knew every one of them inside and out. He never steered me toward any one car, but patiently answered my questions about the models. He did confirm what I was learning about BMW as the best performing car in its class. I haven't bought a car yet and Thiago has been extremely helpful whether we are talking about an Alpha car or one at another dealership. To go by the cars in the Alpha inventory, how thoroughly they inspect and prepare them, and the expert knowledge they have, it's appropriate to call Alpha a boutique dealership with competitive prices. Great group here with beautifully maintained cars. I worked with Thiago who was excellent. Ultimately, I didn't end up buying from them as I was looking for a manual cayman (they only had an automatic), but will definitely do business with them in the future.

I've lived around the corner from AlphaCars for 15 years and, as a "car guy", I have stalked their website forever. I always figured I would eventually purchase a car from them, but the timing of my needs/interests and their inventory were never in synch. However, I recently purchased a European ve...hicle with a somewhat notorious history for electrical gremlins. I recently found my battery completely discharged and, after a jump start, discovered the convertible top inoperable. I figured I'd roll the dice on AlphaCars service and am thrilled that I did. Jacob in service assured me they could handle a battery replacement (and install a battery maintainer at my request) and diagnose the convertible problem. All my communication was via their website and, subsequently, through email (which is a pleasure for someone who hates the phone). Jacob kept me informed throughout, providing updated estimates via pdf attachments. The battery replacement and maintainer installation were a breeze, but the onboard diagnostics system wasn't functioning. They dug in and after a meticulous search, found a blown fuse that prevented communication with the diag system. Once they replaced the fuse, they were able to identify a fault with the top's hydraulic pump, which they addressed. Long story short, everything works as it should, the work was done as advertised, and even came in roughly $80 less than the most recent estimate they had provided. Suffice to say I now have a service solution for my car that I feel I can trust and that is infinitely more convenient than going to my closest dealer. Kudos to the whole AlphaCars operation! I've bought preowned vehicles for years from new car dealers. This was my first experience with a preowned dealer. The experience was outstanding. No pressure and very helpful and personalized. I won't be buying anywhere else in the future.
